Before fame

He attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where he became one of the top high school baseball prospects in the country. He graduated high school in 2022. He was committed to the University of Mississippi but never enrolled or played because he signed with the Boston Red Sox after being drafted right out of high school in 2022. He made his pro debut in summer 2022 with the Florida Complex League Red Sox. He then played for the Salem Red Sox and Greenville Drive in 2023. He followed this with playing for Portland Sea Dogs and Worcester Red Sox in 2024. He made his official MLB debut with the Boston Red Sox in June 2025 after he entered the season as the number one prospect in baseball. He became a member of Team USA for the World Baseball Classic in 2026. 

Trivia

He was named a South Atlantic League Post-Season All-Star in 2023 while playing for the Greenville Drive. He was recognized as a Baseball America High Class A All-Star and a MiLB.com Organization All-Star in 2023. He won the 2024 Futures Skills Showcase. He became the youngest player to hit a home run in the semifinal or final rounds in World Baseball Classic history in 2026.
