He was inspired during his childhood to pursue music as both a vocalist and instrumentalist. His first major musical credit came in 2005 as a sound engineer on Big Boi's album Got Purp?, Volume 2.
In 2013, he released his debut single, "I-69," via Janelle Monae's Wondaland arts collective producing company. In 2014, he was featured on the singer Jidenna's single "Classic Man", which was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
He was born and raised within the United States. His brother, Nate Wonder, has also been a contributing member of Janelle Monae's Wondaland arts collective.
Due to his acumen as a singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger, he has been compared to Stevie Wonder.
