Reality TV star who was best known for his time on MTV's The Real World and its spin-off series. He first appeared during the New Orleans edition of the show in 2010, which was the show's 24th season. On November 27, 2014, he was found deceased in his apartment due to an accidental drug overdose.
He had played hockey throughout high school, which had earned him an athletic scholarship to Arizona State University. It was rescinded following severe injuries to both of his shoulders. This led to an addiction to painkillers, which he was recovering from during the 6 months prior to his Real World debut.
In the years following The Real World: New Orleans, he appeared on various editions of MTV's The Challenge spin-off competition series. His death spawned an outpouring of love and support from his fellow cast members on both shows.
He was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He dated Jemmye Carroll during his time on The Real World.
He competed on The Challenge alongside Wes Bergman, who remembered him in a People Magazine remembrance article.
