Salim Assaf

About

Lebanese music producer, songwriter, and composer who is known for having collaborated and written with over 50 popular Lebanese musicians and artists. He is most recognized for having been a part of several famous Lebanese songs including "Eshtaktilo", "Ghali Alaya", and "Nawer Ayami".

Before Fame

After earning degrees in performance from the Faculty of Hospitality and the Lebanese National Conservatoire, he began working with Lebanese singer Carole Samaha. In 2007 he started collaborating with Majida El Roumi on the song "Beyoum Oursik" which earned him national attention and launched his collaborative career. 

Trivia

He is known for having participated in the "Kas Al Nojoum" program on the anniversary of Abdul Halim Hafiz.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Warhaneh, Al Shouf, Lebanon.

He has helped compose songs with a wide range of Lebanese artists including Najwa Karam, Yara, and Saber Rebai.
