He started off as a pizza maker. He studied at the Hotelery School in Naples, Italy, and later attended Instituto Superiore Arti Culinarie in Venice.
His first job as a pastry chef was at Epicure Company in Sarasota, Florida. He quickly moved and became a pastry sous chef at the L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is from the United States.
He and Eric Lanlard are both trained pastry chefs.
