Chef who has earned Michelin stars and universal acclaim for his New York City restaurant SHO Shaun Hergatt. He previously won numerous honors for his work as a chef at The Ritz-Carlton in Sydneyand Central Park, including the AHA Best Young Chef award.
He grew up in Cairns, Australia and began an apprenticeship at the Crystal Twig restaurant at age 17.
His SHO Shaun Hergatt restaurant was named Best New Restaurant by Esquire and New York magazine upon its opening in 2013.
His father was also a chef.
He has cooked with renowned chef Daniel Boulud.
