Bulgarian triple jump champion who first gained fame after winning the gold medal in the women's triple jump at the 1996 World Junior Championships in Athletics. She went on to win another gold medal in the women's triple jump at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She also won long jump titles at the Bulgarian Athletics Championships and the Bulgarian Indoor Athletics Championships.
