He initially began studying law, but later reverted back to media journalism. He began his career on radio in 1997. He served as a host for the Eezy Drive Show on 99.2 FM radio during the morning slot.
Trivia
In 1997, he founded his production company, Big Dawg Productions. In 2014, he joined the South African reality TV series SA's Got Talent as a judge for season 5. In 2001, he released his first compilation album via his production company Club Y, which he mixed.
Family life
He was born in Gaborone, Botswana and moved to Johannesburg, South Africa when he was a baby. He was married to author Thabiso Sikwane from 2002 to 2020, and they had three children together.
