He and his wife Julie are the parents of five children, who are all featured on the show.
He was born in Georgia and raised in Westminster, South Carolina. He married Julie Chrisley in 1996 and they raised five children together. His first marriage was to Teresa Terry. He had a brother named Derrick Chrisley who died as an infant.
