Before Fame
He started playing the guitar when he was 9 years old. His passion for music led him to perform in bands when he was a teenager. He earned a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music. He then attended the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program. He worked at Cyberia Inc. early in his career, which is a division of Hans Zimmer's Media Ventures. He composed music for television commercials and learned from experienced composers like Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, and John Powell.
