Before Fame

She began making music at six years old by experimenting with GarageBand and early audio software before discovering dubstep and Skrillex in middle school. She began releasing music on Soundcloud when she was 13 years old. she released several EPs including Air Freshener in 2016, Skin Purifying Treatment in 2018, We Never Got Strawberry Cake in 2019, and Character Development! in 2020. She released her debut album Fishmonger in March 2021. She released her hit song "harvest sky" in 2025.

Trivia

Her debut album Fishmonger received widespread acclaim with The Atlantic naming it one of the Top 10 Albums of 2021. She has also released music under the alias Milkfish and is a member of the electronic collective Six Impala, a group known for experimental EDM. Her earliest creative project was a Minecraft Let's Play channel where she first learned video editing and storytelling skills.

Family Life

Her real name is April Harper Grey. She was born to a Filipina mother and white father, and grew up in San Francisco, California.
