TV show host who rose to fame in the 1970's as a television salesperson. She sold everything from slimming creams to lottery tickets. She and her daughter, Stefania Nobile, are part of the Netflix program, Fortune Seller: A TV Scam. The two started a teleshopping business together, telling customers their business partner was clairvoyant and could foresee the winning numbers. 

Before Fame

She was born and raised in Bologna, Italy. She worked as a cosmetician in her home town, even practicing her skills on the recently deceased for the local funeral parlor. Towards the end of the 1970's, she was approached to become a TV salesperson. 

Trivia

Because of her success, she has earned the title Queen of Teleshopping. In January of 2002, she, her daughter Stefanie and their business partner were charged with fraud. They were each sentences to two and a half years in jail for conspiracy to commit fraud, and an additional 10 years for other charges. They also had to return millions of euros to their victims. Part of their scheme involved targeting elderly women.

Family Life

She is from a large family with 10 siblings. In 1961, she married Raimondo Nobile and the two had a daughter, Stefania, and son, Maurizio, shortly after.
