Singer and actress who found nationwide success throughout the 1960s with her hit songs, including "De Winter Was Lang." During the late 1960s, she also co-starred on a television program with her father. Even after the height of her singing career, she continued to intermittently release music and appear in guest roles for film and television.

She commenced her musical career when she was only 11 years old, performing in the musical Duel om Barbara. Only 2 years later, she recorded her first single with her father in 1958.

Family Life
She is the daughter of singer Willy Alberti and Hendrika Geertruida Kuiper. She was married to musician Joop Oonk, with whom she had 1 daughter, from 1964 to 1974. She later married John de Mol Jr., with whom she had a son, actor Johnny de Mol, in 1976. After their 1980 divorce, she married for a third time to athlete Søren Lerby, with whom she had another son. She and Søren separated in 1996.
