Before Fame

In 2011, she graduated from the Ramón Buenahora Educational Univ with a Bachelor of Science degree. She also attended the Polytechnic Experimental University of the National Armed Forces to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. Her debut album, "La Niña Mona," featured 11 songs including "Niégalo Todo" and "Un Guayabo En Mi Vida."

She won the Voz Unefista Award after obtaining 1st place in the 2009 Voz Liceísta. She also earned 2nd place in the Saman de Oro Festival, which took place in the year 2013. Within just a few short years of starting her musical career, she became widely recognized as one of the best Colombian-Venezuelan Folklórica Llanera performers in the industry.

She is the daughter of former commercial workers from the state of Guárico in Venezuela. She is the youngest of their 4 children.
