Singer-songwriter who became more of a household name after being featured on the Kendrick Lamar song "Love" from the singer's studio album Damn. His debut solo single was titled "Foggy Williams" and he put out an album called New Moon.
He led a church band, and played saxophone in a jazz band as well as in his high school. Before professional music, he was a manager for an advertising services company.
He became affiliated with the Los Angeles-based collective Soulection.
His parents put him in a performing arts school at the age of 8.
