Zach Kozyrski

About

A personal trainer and reality star, he gained national attention on Australia's version of reality show Survivor. He appeared on the third season: Champions v Contenders: but he was quickly eliminated from his tribe of Contenders due to his lack of social skills. However, on his return to the 2020 All Stars season, he made sure to up his people skills and was able to make it to the Final Tribal Council before being eliminated. 

Before Fame

In 2008 he starred in a revival of the 1995 version of the Australian adaptation of the television program Gladiators, based more on the UK's structure of adaptation than the original American Gladiators program. A member of the male team of Gladiators, he would face Challengers every week that attempted to beat the Gladiators and make it to the glory of the final championship. 

Trivia

He is also an avid paintballer, heavily involved in the Western Australian paintball league, a key member of the Perth Crisis team. He also began his career in athletics in dancing, specifically in the style of Spanish Flamenco. He competed in dance until he was 18 years old. 

Family Life

He lives and works in Perth, Australia with his long-time partner Katie where they manage a sanctuary for rescued birds. 

Associated With

The Sole Survivor on his Champions v Contenders season of Australian Survivor was Shane Gould, a former Olympic swimming champion. He would meet Shane again in the 2020 All Stars season. However, in a turn in fortunes, Shane was actually the first contestant voted off the All Stars island while Zach was able to make it to the finals.
