Born Zeineb Sawen, Zaza is her show name. She graduated from The University of Sfax with a business degree. She pivoted in the year 2010 to focus on her dreams of pursuing a career in music performance and song writing. She had a prominent role in the movie STREAMS that premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival. The film received an acting award for one of her costars and was a smash success.

She is multi-lingual speaking both her primary language Arabic but French, as well, speaking to the colonial history between the two nations.
