Disney Channel original musical that follows Troy and Gabriella as they fall in love over their shared passion for music. It spawned sequels and spin-offs called High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3: Senior Year and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Trivia
The High School Musical soundtrack was recorded in five days and became the best selling album of 2006. The movie was most commercially successful Disney Channel Original Movie ever produced upon its release. The song "All In This Together" has become one of the film's most popular songs.
