Before Fame

Because her politician father was at one point the governor of Hong Kong, China, she lived there for five years and attended the Island School. She moved back to England to attend Queens' College in Cambridge.

Trivia

She can speak Hindi, because of her work for the 2006 Bollywood film Rang De Basanti. She studied French and Spanish in college.

Family Life

Her father is notable British politician Chris Patten. Her mother's name is Lavender, and she had two sisters named Laura and Kate. She married actor Tim Steed in 2007, and the couple has one child.
