Top 10 finisher in the 2015 Miss Universe pageant who was crowned Miss Universe Japan that year. She became the first multi-racial woman to win the crown of Miss Japan.
She would attend elementary school in Japan and emigrate to Jacksonville, Florida in the United States when she was 13 years old. She returned to Japan two years later.
Before finishing high school, she worked odd jobs, including working as a bartender.
Her mother is Japanese and her father Bryant Stanfield is African American. Her father was stationed at a US Navy base.
She and Riyo Mori have both won the honor of Miss Japan.
