NFL cornerback that was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers as a second round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Florida State University. As a junior, he was named to the first team All-ACC in 2020. 

Before Fame

He was considered a four-star prospect while at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. While there, he won two Florida State Championships. 

Trivia

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Washington Commanders during week one of the 2021 regular season. He recorded four tackles in a 20-16 Chargers victory. After starting twelve games as a rookie for the Chargers, he started all 17 contests in 2022. In his first two seasons, he collected 4 total interceptions. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in the Tallahassee, Florida area. His father, Asante Samuel, won two Super Bowls during his NFL career.
