Before fame
She began acting when she was very young and quickly landed roles in Italian film productions. Her earliest onscreen role was in three episodes of the show My Daughters in 2010. Her earliest film appearances came in 2011 and 2012 with roles in The Immature and its sequel The Immature: The Trip. She appeared in the Italian television series Sorelle in 2017 which helped introduce her to a wider audience before her film breakthrough. Her breakout role came in 2021 when she starred in the fantasy film Freaks Out. She also appeared in the Netflix film Dog Years in 2021. She then appeared in The Man on the Road in 2022 and The Cage in 2023. She continued building her film career with roles in Diamonds and Eternal Visionary in 2024 and The Big Fake in 2025.
Trivia
She won the Nuovo IMAIE Talent Award for Best New Young Actress at the 2021 Venice Film Festival for her performance in Freaks Out. She also received the RB Casting Award at the same festival in 2021. Her role in Freaks Out earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 2022 David di Donatello Awards. She was also nominated for Best Actress at the 2022 Nastro d'Argento Awards for the same performance. She is also a champion Latin dancer and has won European and world titles in bachata competitions.
Family life
She was born and raised in Rome, Italy, where she spent most of her childhood in the Casalotti area of the city. She was raised in a creative family as both of her parents worked as art restorers. She has an older sister named Domiziana Giovinazzo who is also an actress and has appeared in the Italian television series Un medico in famiglia.
