Best known for his work during the 1970s and early 1980s with the English rock band Jethro Tull, this percussionist, drummer, and flautist also founded a band called Storm and recorded with such artists as Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Miles.

Before Fame

In his early years, he acted in an episode of the popular soap opera Coronation Street and played with a local music group called The All Jump Kangaroo Band.

Family Life

Born Barrie Barlow (and later given the Jethro Tull stage name of Barriemore Barlow), he grew up in Birmingham, England.
