Professional off-road racer, entrepreneur, and social media star who has been featured by the San Diego Union-Tribune, Get Land Today, and Polaris, as well as many other news and media outlets. His countless off-road wins include the F.A.T. Ice Race Aspen in the Golf R and AWD categories, the Nitrocross Baja Bugs with his Mako Shark, and King of the Hammers 2024 Baja Vida Class 11, to name just a few. Along with co-creator Aaron Birdwell, he co-created the Shreddy merchandise line, which has collaborated with popular brands such as Dixxon Flannel Co., Rigid Lights, Rugged Radios, and Proboat.
Before Fame
He began racing go-karts when he was just five years old, and subsequently went on to participate in numerous off-road racing events, including the Baja 1000, a 1,000-mile off-road race in the Baja California Peninsula. He initially gained widespread fame after video footage of him driving his custom-built VW Bug, which he referred to as the "Land Shark," through the streets of San Diego, CA, went viral on social media. The video was aptly named "Urban Assault: San Diego Shark Attack."
Trivia
A sequel to his "Urban Assault: San Diego Shark Attack" video, in which he drove his custom VW Bug called "Megalodon" through the streets of Las Vegas, NV, also earned significant viewership. He has also gained a following of over 270,000 on his blakewilkey357 Instagram account, where he has shared photos and videos of his life as an off-road racer and influencer.
Family Life
He was raised by a family that was passionate about off-road racing. In April of 2024, he and his girlfriend, Savannah Fiehler, adopted a dog which they named Sharky.
Associated With
He has hosted and been featured on the popular off-road racing YouTube channel Hoonigan. In a December 2023 episode, he raced his custom VW bug "Megalodon" against BJ Baldwin in his Champion Trophy Truck.
