Famous for his membership in the Irish boyband Hometown. Along with his bandmates, he released the hit singles "Cry for Help" and "Where I Belong." In 2017, he'd represent his native country at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dying to Try." He went on to compete on The X Factor (UK) in 2018.

Formed by The X Factor (UK) judge Louis Walsh, Murray's band Hometown made its debut in a 2014 episode of The Late Late Show, performing a version of the Katy Perry hit "Roar."
