Known otherwise by the stage name B.Traits, she is a DJ and presenter best known for her debut single "Fever" which featured vocals by English vocalist Elisabeth Troy. She has also become known for hosting the monthly radio show In DJs We Trust on BBC Radio 1.
At the age of eighteen, she moved to Vancouver in 2004 and began playing in clubs throughout the city. Not long after, she was booking shows around North America and Europe.
In 2014, she presented the BBC 3 television special How Safe Are My Drugs? about the culture of drugs in the UK rave community.
Born in Nelson, British Columbia, she later lived in Vancouver before moving to London, England. Her father's name is Paul.
In the summer of 2013, she substituted for Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 while she was on maternity leave.
