Brodie Brazil

About

Television broadcaster and sports journalist who has served as the host of celebrated programs including SportsNet Central and SportsNet Reports and whose athletic coverage has spanned from collegiate programs to major professional franchises. He has presented for major sports teams like the Oakland A's and the San Jose Sharks and also served as the host and creator of Brodie Brazil Connected, a show dedicated to coverage of both teams. Some of his other professional achievements have included his work on the FM sports radio station 95.7 The Game, and on the ice hockey TV show Shark Byte. 

Before Fame

He earned his university degree in broadcast journalism from San Jose State University. While attending, he completed an internship for the KICU-TV program High School Sports Focus. He later went on to broaden his educational and career horizons by becoming a certified flight instructor and instrument-rated commercial pilot in 2008. 

Trivia

While employed by KTVU/KICU-TV and NBC Sports Bay Area, he accrued a staggering 13 total Regional Emmy Awards for his work as a broadcast journalist and sports commentator. During that time, he also racked up a whopping 32 additional Regional Emmy Award nominations.

Family Life

He and his wife Amanda became parents to a son named Max, who was born on August 17, 2017.
