His "All People Are Tax People" commercial for TurboTax premiered at the 2020 Super Bowl. He received the Ad Age Director of the Year award the same year. He also directed the 2023 remake of the 1990 film House Party, which was developed by LeBron James. He has also directed commercials for brands such as Target and Sprite.

His birth name is Charles Kidd II. He and his wife Heather have a son together.
