Investor who founded Ark Invest in 2014 to invest in companies leading change into the future. Her fund grew dramatically in its initial six years, and Bloomberg named her the top stock picker in 2020. In 2022, her ARK Innovation ETF experienced a significant decline as rates began to rise in the United States.

Before Fame

She met her mentor Arthur Laffer while pursuing her undergrad degree at the University of Southern California.  She spent 12 years working at AllianceBernstein.

Trivia

She is very active on Twitter to discuss her views on the future of technology and companies disrupting the establishment. She grew to over 1.4 million followers on Twitter. One of the technology companies she was bullish on was the Jack Dorsey led Square, which later became Block.

Family Life

She had three children named Caitlin, Caroline, and Robert with her ex-husband Robert Wood. Her maiden name is Duddy.

She has interacted with Elon Musk several times on Twitter to discuss her bullishness on Tesla. She was interviewed by Jason Calacanis at Art Basel in 2021.
