Regarded as the "Ambassador of the New Dominican Cuisine to the World," she became the chef and owner of a restaurant called Travesías. She became a member of the Dominican Association of Chefs and became leader of the movement Chefs Against Hunger.
She earned a degree in hospitality and tourism from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a diploma in culinary arts from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra.
She hosted a television program called Cocina Gourmet. She has written about gastronomy for the main newspaper of the Dominican Republic, Listín Diario.

She was selected by Martin Berasategui and and La Chaine des Rotisseurs to present dishes from New Dominican Cuisine for an important dinner in 2017.
