DJ, remixer, radio host, and recording artist best known for pioneering the fusion of country music with nightclub DJ culture including being recognized as the first DJ signed to a major Nashville record label. He is known for songs and releases such as "Home Team (Dee Jay Silver Remix)," "Getaway Driver," "Safe Zone," "We Should Dance," "Take Me To The Edge (Roadhouse Mix)," "Just Got Paid," "Made to Do," "Don't Get Better Than This (Remix)," "Common Ground (Remix)," and "Corners of My Mind (Remix)" along with the projects Country Club EP, Made to Do Remixes, and his full-length album Corners.

Before fame

He began DJing while attending Williams Baptist College in Arkansas initially as a way to earn extra income. He became the first DJ signed to RCA Nashville in 2013 and released his debut EP Country Club also in 2013. He also began working with Jason Aldean around 2013 as well which helped boost his growing popularity. He launched the nationally syndicated radio show The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver in 2014. He released his first album Corners in 2019. 

Trivia

He had just stepped offstage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas in 2017 when the mass shooting began making him one of the performers directly affected by the event. He launched a children's clothing brand called Nice Nice Babies.

Family life

His real name is John Perdue. He was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He married Jenna Perdue in 2015. They have two children together, a son named Wake Silver Perdue who was born in 2016, and a daughter named Davis Jessie Perdue who was born in 2019.

He collaborated with Jimmie Allen on the song "We Should Dance" in 2024. He has toured or performed alongside major country artists including Luke BryanBrad Paisley, and Eric Church.
