He began posting to his Instagram in late 2014. His first post is a picture of him wearing a gray hoodie. He started posting on TikTok in 2021 to kill time after graduating from university in Dubai. He graduated with a business degree. His first YouTube channel, TRiDENT GC, was created in 2015. He still runs the channel with his brother.

His username, dejiwastaken, is a reference to him being compared to ComedyShortsGamer. He released his first single, "Cursed," on Spotify in 2021. He loves video games. He streams on his YouTube and TikTok accounts.

He was born and raised in Nigeria. He moved to Dubai in 2016 for school. He has an older brother with whom he creates content.
