Before Fame

He played college baseball for the University of California Santa Barbara Gauchos. He played all four years, with three of those being as a starter.

Trivia

He played for the Hickory Crawdads of the South Atlantic League during the latter part of the 2015 season. He began playing with their Single A level team entering the 2016 season.
