Decorated wing spiker who rose to fame as a gold medal winner at the 2012 London Olympics as part of the Brazilian national team. She was named the best receiver for her run during the Olympics, and subsequently won the 2018 Brazilian Superliga title with Dentil/Praia Clube.

Before Fame

She made her debut for Brazil's national volleyball team in 2010. She enlisted in the Brazilian military, and has worked her way to rank as a sergeant. 


She was named the 2011 Military World Games best spiker and MVP for Brazil's squad. She led Dinamo Krasnodar to a runner-up finish at the 2015 FIVB Club World Championship, where she was named the tournament's best outside spiker.

She was originally born and raised in Porto Allegre, Brazil.
