Before Fame
He graduated from Cedar Crest High School, where he played baseball, football, and basketball. He played college football at The University of Maryland and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 1985 NFL draft.
Trivia
He held assistant positions from 2008 to 2017. He was the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles when they won their first Super Bowl title at Super Bowl LII. He served as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2022. He also guided the team to two playoff appearances.
Family Life
His father Frank Sr. played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1953 to 1955 as a center and linebacker. He was a teacher in technology education, and he was also a football coach at Lebanon High School, eventually retiring in the year 1992. His brother Joe is the head coach at Wingate University. He and his wife Linda have three daughters.
