Democratic Labour Party politician who served as the 7th Prime Minister of Barbados beginning in 2010. He was appointed to the UN Global Panel on Sustainability in 2011.
He graduated from the University of the West Indies and became a lawyer specializing in corporate and criminal law.
He succeeded David Thompson, the previous Prime Minister, who died of pancreatic cancer.
He had one daughter, Julienne St Hill.
He was elected Prime Minister during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
