Hadiza Aliyu

Nigerian actress and filmmaker who is known for her work within the Kannywood film industry. She is best recognized for having starred in the films Babban Zaure, Daga Ni Sai Ke, and Ali Yaga Ali. She is also known for having founded the charitable organization the HAG Foundation which helped to improve healthcare sectors and food security. 

Before Fame

She started her career as a French Language student and went on to become a French-language teacher for a private school. She then moved from Adamawa to Kaduna where she started her acting career in 2009. She made her debut as an actress in the film Artabu. 

Trivia

She is known for having won the Best Actress Jury Award at the 2nd annual Kannywood Awards presented by MTN Nigeria in 2014 for her role in the film Daga Ni Sai Ke. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Libreville, Republic of Gabon.
