Known simply as Aki, he is a bassist who became known as a member of the visual kei rock band Sid. The band has released a dozen albums since their debut album Renai in 2004. They have also released nearly half a dozen compilation albums.
He was a member of the band Ram Rem before co-founding Sid in 2003.
In 2012, he joined the holiday project HALLOWEEN JUNKY ORCHESTRA and in 2015 began a solo career with the album Arise.
He grew up in Tokyo, Japan alongside his parents and brother.
He has been inspired by artists like Gackt and Hyde, amongst other popular rock acts.
