He is also known for being the creator and host of the food and outdoor series Duck Camp Dinners and for his YouTube content under Stir the Pot Studio where he shares recipes, techniques, and food-focused storytelling with over 60,000 subscribers.
Before fame
His earliest memories are tied to food, family meals, and respect for ingredients which inspired him to pursue a cooking career. He attended the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University. He participated in international culinary experiences while he was a student including time spent studying and cooking in France. He gained professional experience in high-end restaurants across the United States including working at Étoile at Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley. He helped open EPIC Roasthouse in San Francisco. He launched Duck Camp Dinners as a series in 2021. He began sharing videos on his YouTube channel in 2023.

He was born and raised in southern Louisiana where he grew up surrounded by family cooking traditions and outdoor culture. He was born to Lloyd and Kathy Bourgeois. He is a father.
