During her senior year at the University of Florida, she captained her school's softball team. After graduating with highest honors, she began her media career as the host of an HDNet program titled The Wild Side.
A model as well as a TV personality, she was featured in an advertisement campaign for Under Armour's sportswear line.
She grew up in Orlando, Florida, as the daughter of gymnastics coaches who trained several Olympians. In 2012, she married actor Wes Chatham. She has two children.
She and actress Moira Kelly both had small roles in the 2006 film Two Tickets to Paradise.
