Professional boxer who is recognized for having held the title of World Boxing Council light middleweight champion. In late 2017, he was the highest ranked boxer in the light middleweight division by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.
At the age of fifteen he won a bronze medal in boxing at the Junior Olympics.
As of February 2018 he had logged a winning record of 30-0.
He is the twin brother of fellow boxer Jermall Charlo.
He defeated Erickson Lubin in a 2017 fight.
