Chocolate entrepreneur who created the modern chocolate bar and founded Cadbury plc.
He suffered early exclusion from top universities because of his Quaker religion.

He married Candia Barrow, his second wife, in 1831. He had six children: John, Richard, Maria, George, Joseph, Edward, and Henry.
