Kanami Toono

About

Japanese guitarist who is best recognized for her work with the Band-Maid group. She is also known for being a member of the acoustic band Rice Cakes and Cheese where she plays the acoustic guitar. 

Before Fame

She originally started playing piano before moving onto the guitar. She was first discovered by fellow band member Miku after a video of her playing guitar surfaced on YouTube. 

Trivia

During an interview with the JRock website, she listed Carlos Santana as one of her major influences on playing guitar. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Daikanyama, Japan.

She performed alongside pop singer Reol at the 2019 Rock in Japan Festival.
