Before fame
He enrolled in the Conservatory of Music in Reims when he was six years old to learn how to play the viola. He moved to Paris to pursue a creative career after graduating school. He enrolled at the drama school Cours Simon in 2004 with the goal of becoming a professional actor and comedian. He began writing his own comedic material and performing in small venues in 2006. He continued working on the French comedy circuit throughout the late 2000s into the early 2010s. He launched his show bref. on Canal+ in 2011. He then began posting bref. segments onto YouTube in 2014.

He has written screenplays and worked behind the camera as a writer and creative producer. He co-created and starred in the sitcom Bloqués from 2015-2017.
Family life
He was born and raised in Reims, France. His father is of Iranian origin and worked as a geologist before leaving Iran around the time of the Iranian Revolution. His father eventually entered the carpet trade in France. His mother is a lawyer from the Picardy region. He has a brother named Keyvan Khojandi.
