South African actress, radio personality, speaker, voice over artist, and entrepreneur known for her role as Boniswa Langa on the popular e.tv soap opera Scandal! from 2016-2021 along with the e.tv series Smoke & Mirrors.

Before fame

She attended Clarendon Girls' High School in East London. She studied Marketing at Technikon Witwatersrand from 1998 to 2000 and completed further studies through the University of South Africa. Her first major acting breakthrough came with a role on Generations where she played Naomi Malotana from 2010 to 2011. Her big break was being cast and appearing in Scandal! in 2016.

Trivia

She founded the Zazi Zithande Zithembe movement in August 2012. She expanded her empowerment brand into a merchandise line in 2020. She is also known for appearing in several major South African TV dramas including Muvhango and Imbewu: The Seed, and for her work leading the empowerment movement Zazi Zithande Zithembe.

Family life

Her real name is Lusanda C. Sangoni. She was born and raised in Butterworth, Eastern Cape, South Africa. She married Luzuko Mbane in 2005. She has two children.
