Argentine politician who is known for having served as the Governor of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Republican Proposal Party and is also known for being the first woman and the first non-Peronist to be voted into office since 1987.
She originally earned her degree in Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. After working in several think tanks and as an advisor to several companies, she started her career in politics in 2008 when she was appointed as the Minister of Social Development of the City of Buenos Aires.
She is also known for having served as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires from December of 2011 until December of 2015.
She has three children named Maria Jose, Camila, and Pedrito.
She was preceded by Gabriela Michetti as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires.
