She has won multiple Best Actress awards at the Filmfare Awards South including in 2004 for her role in Swaathi Mutthu and in 1998 for Bharathi Kannama.
Family Life
She was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and married Vidyasagar in 2009. Their daughter Nainika was born in 2011. Vidyasagar passed away in June 2022.
