First known as a member of the girl group I.O.I, she would go on to join Gugudan in 2016. The group has become known for their popular EPs Act. 1 The Little Mermaid and Act. 2 Narcissus. 

Before Fame

A trainee with Jellyfish Entertainment, she debuted on Produce 101.

She has appeared in episodes of the variety shows Girls Who Eat Well and Strong Man.

She was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea.
