Former prop player that played for the Orrell Rugby Union Football Club, Bristol Bears, London Irish RFC and the Harlequin FC during his career. He has also made appearances as a member of the English national rugby team.

Prior to becoming a professional, he attended St Ambrose College in Manchester, England.
