Family Life
He has three sisters, one of whom became a midfielder for the Cameroon Women's national football team. He married Katya Suh in May 2020. They welcomed twins named Kingston and Khari in March 2021.

A controversial player, he stepped on quarterback Aaron Rodgers' ailing calf muscle in a 2014 week 17 game between the Lions and Green Bay Packers. He was suspended for Detroit's upcoming playoff game but he won an appeal and the suspension was lifted.
